Growing up, Executive Sous Chef Mariana Figueira always enjoyed helping her mom cook meals for the whole family.⁠

Her journey at Michelin-starred Le Jardinier MFAH has evolved over the years - working garde manger to grill to Sous Chef, then earning her position as Executive Sous Chef.⁠

Mariana credits her dream job in fine dining to persistence, creativity, and training with her mentors - the bastion collection's chefs alain verzeroli and Felipe Botero. "I love working at Le Jardinier because I'm constantly learning from talented chefs, and every day is a different experience. We work with the season's best products and new ingredients, making the cuisine so unique."
